Guild Wars 2 has become completely free

At ArenaNet decided to make an online game Guild Wars 2 is free. In it, and so there was no subscription fee, and now part of the main game client can be downloaded without paying a dime.
The developers note that they decided to make the game free to draw more attention to supplement Heart of Thorns - it comes out on 23 October and will cost $ 50. At ArenaNet are confident that the majority of players "basic" version of Guild Wars 2 like it so much that they decide to buy and continue.
